     Historien kan med fordel bruges under et tema med tal, familie eller dyr. Historien læses langsomt højt af læreren. Man sætter tre stole side om side og to modsat dem. Så vælger man en til at være mother, en til father og  tre til at være three little bear cubs. Hver gang deres navn nævnes, skal de løbe en omgang rundt. Man kan også have flere stole i gang, så flere kan være med. Efterfølgende kunne man f.eks. spørge: What is your favourite animal at the zoo? Which animal would you have seen first if you went with the family? Which cub is the cutest of all animals?

 The Three Little Bear Cubs

Once upon a time there was a bear family. Three little bear cubs, father and mother. They wanted to go to the zoo. They all got out of the house, the three little bear cubs, father and mother. They went into the car, the three little bear cubs, father and mother. When they came to the zoo they all got out of the car, mother, father and the three little bear cubs.  Father wanted to see the crocodiles and mother wanted to see the lamas. The three little bear cubs wanted to see the lions. First father, mother and the three little bear cubs went to see the lions. The three little bear cubs enjoyed watching the lions. The lions had small cubs. Then father, mother and the three little bear cubs went to see the llamas. The lamas spat on mother, so mother wanted to get away from the lamas right away. Mother, father and the thee little bear cubs then went to see the crocodiles. Father liked seeing them eating a goat. Mother didn’t like it but the thee little bear cubs liked it as well. Then father, mother and the  three little bear cubs all went to the playground where they had a good time. Father thought it was time to go home, so mother, father and the three little bear cubs all went to the car and drove home. Mother, father and the three little bear cubs had all enjoyed their day at the zoo.
